Shelly is a small, first-run brand, and this is a pre-order. That means you're reserving from a batch we're making for the first time — so a few things work a little differently than an in-stock order. Here's exactly how, in plain terms. This is a pre-order reservation When you reserve a Shelly, you're claiming a spot in our very first production run — and locking in the founder's price. The product isn't in a warehouse yet; your reservation is part of what brings it to shore. Payment is collected in full at checkout Your $9.99 reservation is charged in full at the time you place your order — not later, and not at shipment. The $9.99 is your founder's price; the full retail price after launch is $14. Nothing else is charged later, and there is no subscription or recurring billing of any kind. Estimated shipping: Summer 2026 We expect to ship this first run in Summer 2026. We'll write to you along the way — from sample to shore — and tell you promptly if anything about that window changes. Your refund rights Change your mind? You can request a full refund anytime before your order ships, for any reason. Just ask. If we're delayed past the estimated window, or we cancel the production run, we'll let you know and offer you a full refund. You never have to wait indefinitely or chase us for your money — if we can't ship within the window we represented, you're entitled to a refund of everything you paid. This reflects how pre-orders are meant to work under the U.S. FTC Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule: if we can't ship within the time we promised, we notify you and give you a clear chance to get your money back. How to request a refund Email us at hello@shellyskin.com with the email address or order number you used to reserve, and we'll take care of it. Refunds are returned to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days once we process the request (your bank may take a little longer to post it). A quick, honest note on the product Shelly patches are cosmetic hydrocolloid stickers designed to absorb and protect the look of a blemish overnight.
